If there is anything that says fast and cool, it is a t-bucket. This is a recent 2011 built that sports a 383 stroker with a 4 bolt main latched up to a th350 tranny. The front end stops with disk brakes and has gm spindles with original rebuilt drum in the rear along with all the new hardware and cylinders during the build. A proportioning valve makes sure the balance is just right. A triangulated 4 bar set up was used in setting up the suspension and coil overs. The ride is a smooth as warm peanut butter and handles well at speed. This blue bullet drinks its gas through a 10 gallon aluminum tank and gets power via a locked down battery tray. The interior has black carpet matched with black vinyl seating and door panels. The music system is set up with a hidden amp, speakers, and sub-woofer. The sound system is easily removable as well. Louis showroom is a 1923 ford t-bucket. This purple beast is powered by a 383 small block chevy. The 383 has become a very popular engine choice for those that want big block power but prefer a small block. They are known for boat loads of torque thanks to their long stroke. The tubular exhaust headers and side exhaust emit a great muscle car sound and look amazing too. Keeping the engine temperatures down is an aluminum radiator and an electric cooling fan. The power is sent through a th-350 automatic transmission and back to a ford 9-inch rear end housing 3. 70 gears. Slowing down is an easy chore thanks to front disc brakes and rear drums. Tires are mickey thompsons and are a favorite for the t-buckets. They really add to the aggressive and mean look that have become traditional for most t-buckets. Some shifters are becoming ridiculously complicated to use these days, not in this case. The interior is easy on the eyes with a black vinyl bench and seat belts. Gatewayclassiccars. Com. CD Player
