Theford f-seriesis a series of full size pickup trucks from fordwhich has been sold continuously since 1948. The 1985 ford f-150 was the first model in this lineto offer fuel-injection technology. The 85 ford f150 came off the line with a choice between a fuel-injected 5. 0 liter windsor v8 engine and the carburetor version of the windsor v-8, as well as the diesel and straight-six choices. Finished in a rich glossy raven black paint job shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. A twin pinstripe of red over orange breaks up exterior tastefully. The front chrome bumper fit nicely and compliments the body with only minor scratches upon very close inspection. All trim is presented in excellent condition. The factory 15-inch wheels are in very good condition. Overall this truck still presents itself close as showroom floor new and is a genuine time capsule from 1985! Inside this work horse, the interior is predominately grey with accents. The grey cloth seat is accented with vinyl trim and is in great condition with no notable rips or tears. The molded grey floor covering is in very good condition and black floor mats for a work vehicle and goes well with the other accent colors in the cab. Both grey door panels show great with little or minimal if any wear. This truck is equipped with an upgraded ford am/fm/cassette stereo. All the dash gauges surrounded by woodtone appliqus are properly displayed and function as designed, the original equipment black steering wheel is in very good condition with no worn areas or cracks. This xl f-series truck comes equipped with a electronic fuel injection 302cid v8 mated with a 3-speed selectshift automatic transmission, 4 x 4 driveline, lockout hubs, 2-speed transfer case, dual exhaust, twin-traction beam independent suspension, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The optional 15-inch ford sport wheels are extremely nice and add to the overall off-road theme of the truck. Included with the truck are sales/parts brochure, the original operating manual, 4x4 supplement, owner's guide, maintenance record log and original ford ownercar i. It's a true time capsule from 1985 and so authentic that the movie industry would love to have it in their studio sets! Current mileage on the odometer shows 12,445 miles.
